Parkes Lees Architects Cornwall can guide you through the exciting process of realising your project, fulfilling its potential using considerable experience in contemporary design, low energy builds, conservation and traditional builds
We are a team of architects in Cornwall providing a range of services in Architecture and Building Conservation. Our priority is good quality design to suit our clients’ requirements and budgets.
Our work includes contemporary new design, feasibility, planning and building regulations applications, construction drawings, site inspections, contract administration and conservation consultancy.
Established in 1912, Parkes Lees Architects draws on over a century of valuable experience, consistently delivering good quality and reliable architectural design services throughout Cornwall, Devon and further afield. Based in the centre of Launceston, our talented team of chartered architects and technicians will guide you through each stage of the design process with wide-ranging skills including hand-drawn sketch proposals, computer CAD drawings and 3d modelling and imagery. We offer a full or partial architect’s service ranging from concept through to completion.
Being an RIBA chartered practice means that we continually attend professional seminars to remain up-to- date with the latest standards, techniques and thinking. Our broad portfolio encompasses contemporary design, feasibility studies, planning applications, building regulations, construction drawings, tender packages, site inspections, contract administration and specialist architectural conservation consultancy.
Each project is uniquely moulded to our client’s brief and budget, and we welcome all challenges from the ambitious to the modest, working with you to transform your aspirations into an appropriate, site-sensitive solution.
As one of the longest running architectural practices in Cornwall we have many examples of completed projects in prominent locations that demonstrate our credible experience in local vernacular as well as our sensitive approach to interventions and repairs to historic and listed buildings. We believe in sustainable design and balancing our architectural heritage with innovative technologies to create a legacy for future generations.
We believe that our expertise, along with our diverse range of projects and belief in equal opportunities, makes us a chosen destination for architecture students. Over the last 15 years we have trained over 20 students ranging from work experience school children, under-graduates and post-graduates – many of whom are now either reading architecture at university or have become fully qualified chartered architects. Our approach to training includes the advancement of all our staff; our senior administrator has recently undertaken BTEC Diploma in business administration.
